Is there any other way to get the music from archive.org to play from my iphone?

Why not release an official iphone app?

There are two apps that will play Archive - Music Archive and Archivist.

Currently, Archivist is a bit more slick, with the exception that Music Archive lets you check favorites.

Archivist will play through to the next track, which is something that the web browser does not do on my phone.

To answer your first question, yes. You can go to any page on your iPhone and the music will play.

To answer your second question, because coding an app takes time and resources, and they apparently have not decided that it's worthwhile yet. However, the APIs are open and documented, so volunteers are welcome.
